We had a great time with Captain David. The weather didn’t fully cooperate and our plans had to change a bit, but Capt David did his best to get us out safely. We still had a successful trip - caught a few whiting, shark, catfish, and one big black drum. Really appreciated David watching the radar and keeping us close enough to shore that my kids didn’t get scared when the storms rolled in. Can’t wait to book another trip!

By far away, the highlight of our trip was time on the boat with Captain David! The kids (five and seven) had an amazing time. David was great teaching them about the Fish we caught, baiting hooks, exploring the waterways. he knew exactly where to go, and we spent the majority of time catching fish. Highly recommend and can’t wait to get back on the water with him again.

We were at the end of a really nice vacation. Grandmother, my paraplegic self, daughter and husband and 10 and 12 yo grandchildren had scheduled this evening fishing trip with Captain Dave and didn't know what to expect.

Dave quickly got us in fish and we caught 17 including a 25 and 35 lb redfish. I've fished a lot, and Capt Dave knows how to catch fish and take care of all skill levels. Have fun and "tight lines".

We had a fantastic fishing trip with D&R Charters! David was knowledgeable about fishing and the area. This first time experience was exciting and relaxing. We caught mackerel and barracuda and even saw a few Bull Sharks. One tip, don't take bananas out on the boat. Apparently, bananas on fishing boat is bad luck.

D&R Charters are the best in Fernandina Beach. My wife and I caught 15 large drum on a 4 hour jetty trip. David is easy to talk to and put us on the fish, when others were not getting bites. His boat is smooth and fast and safe. Wouldn’t use anyone else for this area. Thanks for a great adventure!
